You must have an ISBN Number and barcode to sell your book

An ISBN number is the unique number that appears on the copyright page of a printed or e-book. Throughout the world, the ISBN identifies only that one book.

Booksellers, retailers, and distributors use this information to identify and track a particular author's book.

Your book details can be included in the ISBN database which sends out monthly book information to book stores, chains, and distributors. If you plan to get your book printed and place copies in a bookstore, the ISBN/Bar Code on the back cover is what they scan to track sales. Your book printer will need the ISBN/Barcode to imprint on your back cover.

Because we are also writers and publishers, we understand your needs and give you personal one on one service. The cost of creating and providing the ISBN and barcode for your original work is a one time fee of $249.99. This includes the price charged for the ISBN and Bar Code image.

We set up the account with R.R. Bowker in your name and fill in all required info. When you place the order with us, we email you a detailed question list to fill out and as publishers for 15 years, we take it from there. When finished, a UserName & Password will be provided to you. This allows you to log into Bowker and view your information.  The package includes one ISBN and one Bar code.
